We regret to inform you that NeoProtect, one of our trusted DDoS mitigation providers, has officially shut down its Remote Shield service following a sudden and final decision by their upstream, CDN77/Datapacket, to terminate all BGP sessions and cease providing infrastructure support.

This decision was entirely outside our control and came despite NeoProtect’s proactive efforts to resolve the situation. We are just as frustrated and disappointed as you are—this has been a significant disruption not only to our customers but to our operations and trust in the ecosystem.

For affected Iceline customers:

We are actively coordinating alternatives with our remaining DDoS mitigation partners.

You have two immediate options:

• Switch to a non-protected IP (no mitigation, faster activation).
• Migrate to a DDoS-protected IP via another provider — note this may require a node or location change for optimal routing and protection.
